Agreement

Podsnapper is operated by AMTT LLC. By using Podsnapper, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

Podsnapper is an AI-powered podcast and video summarizer. You submit a URL, and we generate a text and audio summary using artificial intelligence. Summaries are generated by AI and may not be perfectly accurate — they are intended as a convenience, not a substitute for listening to the original content.

Accounts

You must create an account to use Podsnapper. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account per person — do not create multiple accounts to bypass free tier limits.

Plans & Billing

Free plan: 1 summary (lifetime). Includes text and audio output.

Paid plans & monthly limits: Paid plans are subscriptions with a monthly summary allowance: Light — 10 summaries/month, Pro — 30 summaries/month, and Max — unlimited summaries. Your allowance resets every month — one month after you subscribe and on the same day each month thereafter — regardless of whether you pay monthly or yearly. Unused summaries do not roll over.

Recurring billing & auto-renewal: Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe on the interval you choose (monthly or yearly) and automatically renew at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.

Cancellation: You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then and are not charged again.

Plan changes: Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately. Your summary usage for the current period carries over to the new plan and is not reset — so if you downgrade, summaries already used this period count toward your new, lower limit until the next monthly reset.

Refunds: Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods; canceling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. We may refund duplicate or erroneous charges on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

— Use the service to process content you do not have the right to access

— Reverse engineer, scrape, or automate requests to the service

— Resell or redistribute generated summaries commercially without permission

— Abuse the service in any way that degrades it for other users

Intellectual Property

The summaries generated are derivative works created by AI. You may use your summaries for personal and internal business purposes. The original podcast/video content remains the intellectual property of its creators. Podsnapper does not claim ownership of the content you submit or the summaries generated.

Availability

We strive to keep Podsnapper available at all times, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. Summary quality and availability depend on third-party APIs and may vary.

Limitation of Liability

Podsnapper is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to inaccurate summaries, service interruptions, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
